Tahdhīb al-Aḥkām|Volume 1|Book 1|Chapter 3
As for what was narrated by Ahmad bin Muhammad from Al-Barqi, from Wahb bin Wahb, from Abu Abdullah عليه السلام, who said:
Imam عليه السلام said: 'The inscription on the ring of my father (Imam Al Baqir عليه السلام) was "All glory belongs to Allah سبحانه وتعالى entirely," and it was on his left hand, with which he performed istinja (cleansing). The inscription on the ring of Commander of the Faithful عليه السلام was "The sovereignty belongs to Allah سبحانه وتعالى," and it was on his left hand, with which he performed istinja.'
