Tahdhīb al-Aḥkām|Volume 1|Book 1|Chapter 4
The Shaykh (Al-Mufid), may Allah سبحانه وتعالى support him, informed me, saying: Ahmad ibn Muhammad reported to me, from his father, from Ahmad ibn Idris, from Ahmad ibn Muhammad, from al-Husayn ibn Saʿid, from Fadalah ibn Ayyub, from al-Husayn ibn ʿUthman, from Samaah, from Abu Basir, from Abu Abdullah عليه السلام, who said:
Imam عليه السلام said: "If you perform part of your Wuduʾ and then a need arises, causing your Wuduʾ to dry, repeat your Wuduʾ, for Wuduʾ cannot be divided."
