Tahdhīb al-Aḥkām|Volume 1|Book 1|Chapter 6
Narrated by the Shaykh (Al-Mufid), may Allah سبحانه وتعالى support him, narrated to me from Ahmad ibn Muhammad, from his father, from al-Husayn ibn al-Hasan ibn Aban, from al-Husayn ibn Sa’id, from Hammad ibn Uthman, from Udaym ibn al-Hurr, who said:
I asked Abu Abdullah عليه السلام about a woman who sees in her dream what a man sees (i.e., a sexual dream). Is ghusl obligatory upon her? Imam عليه السلام said: "Yes, but do not inform them about it so they do not use it as an excuse."
