Chapter on Rules of Janabah and Methods of Purification

Narrated by the Shaykh (Al-Mufid), may Allah سبحانه وتعالى support him, from Ahmad ibn Muhammad, from his father, from al-Husayn ibn al-Hasan ibn Aban, from al-Husayn ibn Sa'id, from Uthman, from Sama'ah, who said: I asked Imam عليه السلام about a person in a state of major ritual impurity (junub), Can he recite the Quran? Imam عليه السلام said: "Up to seven verses."
