As for what was narrated by Ali ibn Ja’far from his brother Imam Musa ibn Ja’far عليه السلام, who said: “I asked Imam عليه السلام about a man who engages in foreplay with a woman and kisses her, and seminal fluid (mani) is discharged. What is required of him?" Imam عليه السلام said: "If pleasure (shahwah) accompanies it, and it is discharged with force and followed by a feeling of relaxation, then ghusl is obligatory upon him. But if it is something that comes out without any pleasure or relaxation, then there is no problem."
