Through this chain of narration, from Ali ibn Al-Hasan, from Ayub ibn Nuh, from Al-Hasan ibn Mahbub, from Alaa, from Muhammad ibn Muslim:
Abu Ja'far عليه السلام was asked regarding a woman whose menstrual blood stops at the end of her days of menstruation. Imam عليه السلام said: "If her husband is overtaken by intense desire, he should instruct her to wash her private area, and then he may approach her if he wishes, even before she performs the ritual purification (ghusl)."
