Tahdhīb al-Aḥkām|Volume 1|Book 1|Chapter 8
And through this chain of narration, from Al-Husayn ibn Sa'id, from Al-Nadr, from Ibn Sinan, who said:
I heard Abu Abdullah عليه السلام say: "If a man does not find purification material (water) and he is in a state of major impurity (janabah), let him wipe with the earth and pray. Then, when he finds water, let him perform ghusl, and the prayer he prayed has sufficed for him."
