Chapter on Rulings on Forgetfulness (Sahw) in Prayer and What Requires Repeating of Prayer

As for what was narrated by Sa‘d bin Abdillah, from Abu Ja‘far, from his father, and al-Husayn bin Sa‘id, from Muhammad bin Abi Umayr, from ‘Umar bin Udhaynah, from Zurarah: Abu Ja‘far عليه السلام, peace be upon him, (said) regarding a man who is forgetful in the first two rak‘ahs and speaks. Imam عليه السلام said: "He should complete what remains of his prayer, whether he spoke or did not speak, and there is nothing upon him."
