Chapter on Rulings on Forgetfulness (Sahw) in Prayer and What Requires Repeating of Prayer

Al-Husayn bin Sa’id, from Muhammad bin al-Fudayl, from Abu al-Sabbah al-Kinani, who said: I asked Abu Abdillah عليه السلام about a man who performed ablution but forgot to wipe over his head until he had already stood for prayer. Imam عليه السلام said: ‘"Then he should leave (the prayer), wipe over his head, and repeat the prayer."‘
