Chapter on What is Permissible to Pray in, from Clothing and Place, and What is Not Permissible to Pray in, from That

Muhammad ibn Ya‘qub, from a group of our companions, from Ahmad ibn Muhammad, from Ali ibn al-Hakam, from Hisham ibn Salim, from Abu Basir: Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, said: "It is not appropriate to wrap yourself with an izar over the shirt when you pray, for that is from the dress of the Days of Ignorance."
