Chapter on What is Permissible to Pray in, from Clothing and Place, and What is Not Permissible to Pray in, from That
What was narrated by Muhammad ibn Ya‘qub, from Muhammad ibn Yahya, from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn, from Uthman ibn ‘Isa, from Sama‘ah, who said:
I asked Him عليه السلام about a man who wraps himself in a single garment during prayer. Imam عليه السلام said: "He should not wrap himself in a single garment completely. But if he wraps it across himself (tawashshaha) and covers his shoulders, then there is no problem."
