From him, from Ibn Ribat from Ibn Udhaynah from Muhammad ibn Muslim, who said:
Sometimes I would enter upon Abu Ja‘far عليه السلام after I had prayed Dhuhr and ‘Asr, and Imam عليه السلام would say: "Have you prayed Dhuhr?" And I would say: "Yes, and (also) ‘Asr." Then Imam عليه السلام would say: "I have not yet prayed Dhuhr." He عليه السلام would then rise, calmly and without haste, perform ghusl (ritual bath) or perform wudu’ (ablution), then pray Dhuhr and then pray ‘Asr. And sometimes I would enter upon Him عليه السلام while I had not yet prayed Dhuhr, and He would say: "Have you prayed Dhuhr?" And I would say: "No" Then Imam عليه السلام would say: "I have already prayed Dhuhr and ‘Asr."
