Chapter on the Prayer Times (Mawaqit)

Al-Hasan ibn Muhammad ibn Sama'ah narrated from Ibn Ribaat from Jarud or Isma'il ibn Abi Sammal from Muhammad ibn Abi Hamzah from Jarud who said: Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, said to me: "O Jarud, they are advised, but they do not accept. And when they hear something, they cry out about it, or if they are told something, they spread it. I (Imam al Sadiq عليه السلام) said to them: ‘Delay Maghrib a little, but they abandoned it until the stars became intertwined. Now I pray it when the disk (of the sun) sets.’"
