Chapter on the Prayer Times (Mawaqit)

Muhammad ibn Ali ibn Mahbub narrated from Ali ibn Al-Sindi from Muhammad ibn Abi Umayr from Jamil ibn Darraj from Zurarah: Abu Ja'far, peace be upon him, said: "(Imam عليه السلام) Ali, peace be upon him, would not pray anything during the night after praying the night prayer (Isha) until midnight, and He عليه السلام would not pray during the day until the sun had passed the meridian."
