أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مَهْزِيَارَ قَالَ: سَأَلَ دَاوُدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ أَبَا اَلْحَسَنِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَنِ اَلْقَرَاطِيسِ وَ اَلْكَوَاغِذِ اَلْمَكْتُوبَةِ عَلَيْهَا هَلْ يَجُوزُ اَلسُّجُودُ عَلَيْهَا أَمْ لاَ فَكَتَبَ« يَجُوزُ»
Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn Mahziyar, who said:
Dawud ibn Yazid asked Abu Al-Hasan عليه السلام, about papers and parchment that have writing on them, is it permissible to prostrate upon them or not? So Imam عليه السلام wrote: "It is permissible."
