Chapter on the Manner of Prayer, Its Description and What is Obligatory and Recommended

From him from Muhammad ibn Al-Husayn from Abdur-Rahman ibn Abi Hashim from Salim ibn Abi Khadijah from Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, who said: A man asked Imam عليه السلام while I was listening, and said: “I pray the Fajr prayer, then I engage in the remembrance of Allah سبحانه وتعالى with all that I wish to remember of what is obligatory upon me, then I desire to lay down my side and sleep before the rising of the sun, but I dislike that.” Imam عليه السلام said: "And why?" (the man) said: “I dislike that the sun should rise from other than its usual place.” Imam عليه السلام said: "There is no ambiguity in that. Look from where the Fajr rises, for from there the sun rises, and there is no harm upon you to sleep if you have already engaged in the remembrance of Allah سبحانه وتعالى, Mighty and Majestic."
