أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ اِبْنِ أَبِي نَصْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي اَلْوَلِيدِ قَالَ: كُنْتُ جَالِساً عِنْدَ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ فَسَأَلَهُ نَاجِيَةُ أَبُو حَبِيبٍ فَقَالَ لَهُ جَعَلَنِيَ اَللَّهُ فِدَاكَ إِنَّ لِي رَحًى أَطْحَنُ فِيهَا فَرُبَّمَا قُمْتُ فِي سَاعَةٍ مِنَ اَللَّيْلِ فَأَعْرِفُ مِنَ اَلرَّحَى أَنَّ اَلْغُلاَمَ قَدْ نَامَ فَأَضْرِبُ اَلْحَائِطَ لِأُوقِظَهُ فَقَالَ« نَعَمْ أَنْتَ فِي طَاعَةِ اَللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ تَطْلُبُ رِزْقَهُ»
Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ibn Abi Nasr from Abu Al-Walid who said:
I was sitting with Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, when Najiyah Abu Habib asked Imam عليه السلام and said: “May I be your ransom, I have a mill in which I grind, and sometimes I rise during a part of the night and know from the sound of the mill that the servant has fallen asleep, so I strike the wall to wake him up.” Imam عليه السلام said: "Yes, you are in obedience to Allah سبحانه وتعالى, Mighty and Majestic, seeking His sustenance."
