Chapter on the Manner of Prayer, Its Description and What is Obligatory and Recommended
Ali ibn Ibrahim from his father from Hammad from Hariz from Zurarah:
Abu Ja’far عليه السلام, peace be upon him, said: “When you face the Qiblah with your face, do not turn your face away from the Qiblah lest you corrupt your prayer, for Allah سبحانه وتعالى, the Exalted, said to His Prophet صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم regarding the obligatory prayer: "So turn your face toward the Sacred Mosque; and wherever you are, turn your faces toward it" (Surah Baqarah 2:144 & 2:150) And lower your gaze and do not raise it toward the sky, and let it be directed in front of your face at the place of your prostration.”
