Chapter on the Manner of Prayer, Its Description and What is Obligatory and Recommended
And from him, from al-Barqi, from Sa‘d, from Abu al-Hasan al-Ridha عليه السلام, peace be upon him, who said:
I asked Him عليه السلام about a man who is in his house, praying, while he believes it is still night. Then another person enters upon him from the door and says, "The morning has come." Should he repeat the Witr or not, or should he repeat any part of his prayer? Imam عليه السلام said: "He should repeat it if he prayed it after morning had arrived."
