Chapter on the Manner of Prayer, Its Description and What is Obligatory and Recommended
From him, from Muhammad ibn Al-Husayn, from Al-Hasan ibn Ali, from Hammad ibn Uthman who said:
I said to Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him: “Sometimes standing in prayer becomes difficult for me.” Imam عليه السلام said: "If you want to attain the reward of the one who stands in prayer, then recite while you are sitting, and when only two verses remain from the Surah, then stand up, complete what remains, bow, and prostrate, that will be counted as the prayer of one who stood."
