Chapter on the Manner of Prayer, Its Description and What is Obligatory and Recommended
عَنْهُ عَنْ فَضَالَةَ عَنْ أَبَانٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اَلرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَيَابَةَ قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ أَدْعُو اَللَّهَ وَ أَنَا سَاجِدٌ فَقَالَ« نَعَمْ فَادْعُ لِلدُّنْيَا وَ اَلْآخِرَةِ فَإِنَّهُ رَبُّ اَلدُّنْيَا وَ اَلْآخِرَةِ»
From him, from Fadalah from Aban from Abdurrahman ibn Sayabah, who said:
I said to Abu Abdillah عليه السلام: “Shall I supplicate to Allah سبحانه وتعالى while I am in prostration?” Imam عليه السلام said: "Yes, so supplicate for the world and the Hereafter, for indeed He عز وجل is the Lord عز وجل of the world and the Hereafter."
