Chapter on Times of Prayer and Sign of Each of Its Times

It was narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad, from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Abi Nasr, from al-Qasim, the freed slave of Abu Ayyub, from ‘Ubayd ibn Zurarah: Abu Abdillah عليه السلام said: “When the sun sets, the time for the two prayers has entered until midnight, except that this one (Maghrib) is before that one (‘Isha’). And when the sun passes the meridian, the time for the two prayers has entered, except that this one (Dhuhr) is before that one (‘Asr).”
