Chapter on Times of Prayer and Sign of Each of Its Times

Narrated by Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Abu Ayyub al-Khazzaz from Muhammad ibn Muslim, who said: I heard Abu Abdillah عليه السلام say: "When the time of a prayer enters, the gates of the heavens are opened for the ascent of deeds. So I do not wish that any deed ascends before mine, nor that anyone's name is recorded in the scroll (of deeds) before mine."
