And from him, from Ali ibn al-Hakam, from Isma‘il ibn Abd al-Khaliq, from Abu Ja‘far Muhammad ibn Abi Talhah, the maternal uncle of Sahl ibn Abd Rabbih: Abu Abdillah عليه السلام said: “I recited in the Fajr prayer: ‘Qul huwa Allahu Ahad’ (Surah Al-Ikhlas) and ‘Qul ya ayyuha al-kafirun’ (Surah Al-Kafirun), and the Messenger of Allah سبحانه وتعالى, peace be upon him and his family, also did that.”
