Chapter on the Manner of Prayer, Explanation of the Fifty-One Rak‘ahs; The Order, Recitation, Tasbih in Bowing and Prostration, Qunut, and What is Obligatory and Recommended Therein
As for what was narrated by Sa‘d, from Ahmad ibn Muhammad, from Muhammad ibn Abi Umayr, from Hammad ibn ‘Uthman, from ‘Ubaydullah ibn Ali al-Halabi: Abu Abdillah عليه السلام said: “If you stand for the last two rak‘ahs, do not recite in them. Rather, say: ‘al-hamdu lillah’, ‘subhan Allah’, and ‘Allahu akbar’.”
