And from him, from Ibrahim ibn Ishaq al-Nahawandi, from Abu ‘Asim Yusuf, from Muhammad ibn Sulayman al-Daylami, who said: I asked Abu Abdillah عليه السلام and said: “May I be your ransom, your Shi‘a say that faith is ‘settled’ and ‘entrusted.’ Teach me something, that if I say it, I will have completed (perfected) faith.” Imam عليه السلام said: “Say after every obligatory prayer: ‘I am pleased with Allah سبحانه وتعالى as Lord عز وجل, with Muhammad صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم as Prophet, with Islam as religion, with the Qur’an as Book, with the Ka‘bah as qiblah, and with Ali عليه السلام as guardian and Imam, and with al-Hasan عليه السلام and al-Husayn عليه السلام and the Imams عليه السلام, may Allah’s سبحانه وتعالى blessings be upon them. O Allah سبحانه وتعالى, I am pleased with them as Imams عليه السلام, so be pleased with me for their sake. Indeed, You سبحانه وتعالى have power over all things.’”
