Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Yahya from Abu Ja‘far from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Abu al-‘Ala’ al-Khaffaf:
(Imam) Ja‘far ibn Muhammad عليه السلام, peace be upon him, said: “Whoever performs the Maghrib prayer and then remains in ta‘qib without speaking until he performs two rak‘ahs, they will be recorded for him in ‘Illiyyin (those of elevated stations). And if he performs four (rak‘ahs), it will be recorded for him as an accepted Hajj.”
