And from him, from Muhammad ibn Yahya, from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa, from Muhammad ibn Isma‘il, from Abu Isma‘il al-Sarraj, from Ali ibn Shajarah, from Muhammad ibn Marwan: Abu Abdillah عليه السلام said: “You wipe your right hand over your forehead and your face after Maghrib and after the (other) prayers, and say: ‘In the Name of Allah سبحانه وتعالى, the One besides whom there is no god, Knower of the unseen and the seen… the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate. O Allah سبحانه وتعالى, I seek refuge in You عز وجل from anxiety and grief, from sickness and poverty, from humiliation and disgrace, and from indecencies, both apparent and hidden.’”
