مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنِ اَلْفَضْلِ بْنِ شَاذَانَ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عُمَرَ اَلْيَمَانِيِّ عَمَّنْ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ: فِي قَوْلِ اَللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ« إِنَّ اَلْحَسَنٰاتِ يُذْهِبْنَ اَلسَّيِّئٰاتِ» قَالَ« صَلاَةُ اَلْمُؤْمِنِ بِاللَّيْلِ تَذْهَبُ بِمَا عَمِلَ مِنْ ذَنْبٍ بِالنَّهَارِ»
Muhammad ibn Ya‘qub, from Muhammad ibn Isma‘il, from al-Fadl ibn Shadhan, from Hammad ibn ‘Isa, from Ibrahim ibn ‘Umar al-Yamani, from someone who narrated to him:
Abu Abdillah عليه السلام (was asked) regarding the saying of Allah سبحانه وتعالى, Mighty and Majestic: ‘Indeed, good deeds remove bad deeds”’ (Surah Hud 11:114) Imam عليه السلام said: “The believer’s prayer at night removes what he has committed of sins during the day.”
