Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Yahya from Abu Ja‘far al-Nahwi from Abu al-Jawza’ from al-Husayn ibn ‘Ulwan from ‘Amr ibn Khallad from ‘Asim ibn Abi al-Najud al-Asadi from Ibn ‘Umar: (Imam) al-Hasan ibn Ali عليه السلام, peace be upon him, said: “I heard my father (Imam) Ali ibn Abi Talib, peace be upon him, say that the Messenger of Allah سبحانه وتعالى, may Allah سبحانه وتعالى bless him and his family, said: "Any Muslim who sits in his prayer place, in which he performed the Fajr prayer, remembering Allah سبحانه وتعالى until the sun rises, will have the reward of one who has performed Hajj with the Messenger of Allah سبحانه وتعالى, may Allah سبحانه وتعالى bless him and his family, and he will be forgiven. And if he remains sitting there until the time comes in which prayer is permitted, and he then performs two rak‘ahs or four, he will be forgiven for what has passed, and he will have the reward of one who has performed Hajj to the House of Allah سبحانه وتعالى."
