Muhammad ibn Ali ibn Mahbub from Abdullah ibn al-Mughirah from Ibn Muskan: Abu Abdillah عليه السلام said regarding a man who raises his hands whenever he goes down for bowing (‘ruku’) and prostration (‘sujud’), and whenever he raises his head from bowing or prostration. Imam عليه السلام said: “It is servitude (‘al-‘ubudiyyah’).”
