Al-Husayn ibn Sa’id, from Muhammad ibn Sinan, from Ibn Muskan, from al-Halabi, who said: I asked Abu Abdillah عليه السلام about performing the night prayer (‘salat al-layl’) and ‘witr’ at the beginning of the night while traveling, if I fear the cold or there is an illness. Imam عليه السلام said: "There is no harm, I do it myself."
