Chapter on the Detailed Explanation of Prayer, Including the Obligatory and Recommended, and What is Permissible and Not Permissible.

Muhammad ibn Ya’qub, from Ali ibn Ibrahim, from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa, from Yunus, from Hashim ibn Abi Sa’id al-Makkari, from Abu Basir: Abu Abdillah عليه السلام said: "There are five prayers which you may perform at any time: the prayer of the eclipse (‘salat al-kusuf’), the funeral prayer (‘salat al-mayyit’), the prayer of ‘ihram’, a missed prayer that was not performed (‘salat allati tafut’), and the circumambulation prayer (‘salat al-tawaf’). All of these may be performed from Fajr until sunrise, and after ‘Asr until night."
