اَلْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنِ اَلنَّضْرِ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ عَنْ هِشَامٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ وَعَلِيِّ بْنِ اَلنُّعْمَانِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ بْنِ مُسْكَانَ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ أَ يَقْرَأُ اَلرَّجُلُ فِي اَلْأُولَى وَ اَلْعَصْرِ خَلْفَ اَلْإِمَامِ وَ هُوَ لاَ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ يَقْرَأُ فَقَالَ« لاَ يَنْبَغِي لَهُ أَنْ يَقْرَأَ يَكِلُهُ إِلَى اَلْإِمَامِ»
Al-Husayn ibn Said from al-Nadr ibn Suwayd from Hisham from Sulayman ibn Khalid and Ali ibn al-Numan from Abdillah ibn Muskan from Sulayman ibn Khalid, who said:
I said to Aba Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him: “Should a man recite in Dhuhr and Asr prayers, behind the imam (of prayer), while he does not know whether the imam (of prayer) is reciting?” Imam عليه السلام said: “He should not recite; he should entrust it to the imam (of prayer).”
