Ali ibn Hatim, from Ali ibn Sulayman al-Zurari, who said: Ahmad ibn Ishaq narrated to us, from Sadan ibn Muslim, from Abu Basir, who said:
Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, said: “Pray during the twenty nights of the Month of Ramadan, eight (rak’ahs) after Maghrib and twelve rak’ahs after Atamah (Isha). Then when the night arrives, in which is hoped what is hoped (Laylat al-Qadr), pray one hundred rak’ahs, reciting in every rak’ah ‘Qul huwa Allahu Ahad’ (Surah Ikhlas) ten times.” He (Abu Basir) said: “I asked, ‘May I be your ransom and if I am not able to stand?’” Imam عليه السلام said: “Then (pray) sitting.” I asked: “And if I am not able to sit?” Imam عليه السلام said: “Then pray while lying on your bed.”
