From him, from Ali ibn Ibrahim, from Muhammad ibn Isa, from Yunus, from Ali ibn Abi Hamzah, from Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him:
Imam al-Sadiq عليه السلام was asked regarding the Eid prayer. Imam عليه السلام said: “He says the takbir, then recites, then says five takbirs, and performs ‘qunut’ between every two takbirs. Then he says the seventh takbir, then bows (rukuh) with it, then prostrates (sujud), then stands for the second unit, recites, then says four takbirs, and performs qunut between every two takbirs, then says a takbir and bows with it.”
