Chapter on the Prayer of the Two Eids

Al-Husayn ibn Said from Uthman from Sama’ah from Abi Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, who said: Imam al-Sadiq عليه السلام said: “There is no (prescribed) prayer on the two Eids except with the (just) imam. But if you pray alone, then there is no harm.” And I asked Imam عليه السلام about eating before going out on the day of Eid. Imam عليه السلام said: “Yes and if you do not eat, then there is no harm.”
