Ali ibn Hatim from al-Husayn ibn Ali from his father from Fadalah from Abdillah ibn Sinan from Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, who said:
Imam al-Sadiq عليه السلام said: “Whoever does not attend the public congregation of people on the two Eids, let him perform ghusl, and apply fragrance with whatever he finds, and let him pray alone, just as he would pray in congregation.” And Imam عليه السلام said: “Take your adornment at every masjid” (Surah Al-A’raf 7:31), And Imam عليه السلام said: “(this applies to) The two Eids and Jumu’ah (Friday).”
