Al-Husayn ibn Said, from al-Qasim ibn Muhammad, from Abdullah ibn Muhammad, from Hariz, who said:
Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, said: “If the moon is eclipsed and you were unaware of it until morning, and then it reaches you (you learn about it), then if the entire moon had been darkened (ihtaraqa kulluhu), you are obligated to make up the prayer (qada). But if it had not been completely darkened, then there is no obligation upon you to make it up.”
