Chapter on the Prayer over the Dead

سَعْدٌ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ نُوحٍ عَنِ اَلْحَسَنِ بْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مِهْزَمٍ عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَلَيْهِمَا اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ:« صَلِّ عَلَى مَنْ مَاتَ مِنْ أَهْلِ اَلْقِبْلَةِ وَ حِسَابُهُ عَلَى اَللَّهِ»
Sa’ad from Ayyub ibn Nuh from al-Hasan ibn Mahbub from Ibrahim ibn Mihzam from Talhah ibn Zayd from Abu Abdillah عليه السلام from his father عليه السلام, peace be upon them both, who said:
Imam al-Sadiq عليه السلام said: “Pray over whoever dies from the people of the Qiblah, and his reckoning is upon Allah سبحانه وتعالى.”
