عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ اَلسِّنْدِيِّ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اَلرَّحْمَنِ اَلْحَذَّاءِ عَنْ أَبِي أُسَامَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ قَالَ:« مَسْجِدُ كُوفَانَ رَوْضَةٌ مِنْ رِيَاضِ اَلْجَنَّةِ صَلَّى فِيهِ أَلْفُ نَبِيٍّ وَ سَبْعُونَ نَبِيّاً وَ مَيْمَنَتُهُ رَحْمَةٌ وَ مَيْسَرَتُهُ مَكْرٌ وَ فِيهِ عَصَا مُوسَى عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ وَ شَجَرَةُ يَقْطِينٍ وَ خَاتَمُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ وَ مِنْهُ« فٰارَ اَلتَّنُّورُ» وَ جَرَتِ اَلسَّفِينَةُ وَ هِيَ صُرَّةُ بَابِلَ وَ مَجْمَعُ اَلْأَنْبِيَاءِ عَلَيْهِمُ اَلسَّلاَمُ»
Ali ibn Ibrahim from Salih ibn al-Sindi from Ja’far ibn Bashir from Abu Abd al-Rahman al-Hadha’ from Abu Usamah from Abu Ubaydah from Abu Ja’far عليه السلام, peace be upon him, who said:
Imam al-Baqir عليه السلام said: “The ‘Mosque of Kufah’ is a garden from gardens of Paradise. One thousand and seventy prophets prayed in it. Its right side is mercy, and its left side is deception. And in it is the staff of Musa عليه السلام, peace be upon him, And the gourd tree (shajarat yaqtin), And the ring of Sulayman عليه السلام, peace be upon him. And from it ‘the oven gushed forth’ (Surah Hud 11:40), and the Ark (of Nuh عليه السلام) sailed. And it is the ‘navel of Babylon’ and the gathering place of the prophets عليه السلام.”
