Sa’ad from Abu Ja’far from al-Abbas ibn Ma‘ruf from Safwan from al-Qasim ibn Muhammad from Sulayman, the client of Tirbal, from Ubayd ibn Zurarah, who said:
I heard Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, say: “Abu Ja’far عليه السلام, peace be upon him, used to pray in the mosque and would spit in front of him, to his right, to his left, and behind him on the pebbles, and he would not cover it.”
