Chapter on the Virtue of Mosques and Prayer Within Them, and the Virtue of Congregational Prayer and Its Rulings

Ali ibn Ibrahim from his father from Ibn Abi Umayr from Hisham ibn al-Hakam from Abu Ubaydah al-Hadhdha' who said: I heard Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, say: “Whoever builds a mosque, Allah سبحانه وتعالى will build for him a house in Paradise.” Abu Ubaydah said: “Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, passed by me on the road to Mecca, while I had arranged stones for a mosque, so I asked: ‘May I be your ransom, we hope that this is of that (included in the reward).’” Imam عليه السلام said: “Yes.”
