Tahdhīb al-Aḥkām|Volume 3|Book 2|Chapter 5
From him, from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn, from Al-Hajjaj, from Hammad ibn Uthman, from Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, who said:
We mentioned the eclipse of the moon and what the people suffer from its intensity. So Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him, said: “If any part of it becomes uncovered, then it has become uncovered.” (meaning the eclipse is considered ‘finished’ when a part of it gets ‘uncovered’)
