Ali from his father from Abdullah ibn al-Mughirah from Mu'awiyah ibn Maysarah: that Sinan asked Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him:
Imam al-Sadiq عليه السلام was asked about a man who stretches out one of his legs in front of him while sitting. Imam عليه السلام said: “There is no problem, and I do not see it except, in the case of someone afflicted (al-mu'tall) or sick (al-marid).”
