Tahdhīb al-Aḥkām|Volume 4|Book 1|Chapter 25
Muhammad ibn Yaqub, from some of our companions, from Muhammad ibn Isa, from Ali ibn Bilal, who said:
I (narrator) wrote to the man (Imam عليه السلام), peace be upon him, asking him about ‘the Fitrah and how much is to be paid.’ He (narrator) said: “Imam عليه السلام, peace be upon him, wrote: ‘Six artal of dates according to the Madani measure, and that is nine according to the Baghdadi measure.’”
