Chapter on One Who Becomes Muslim in Month of Ramadan, and the Ruling of One Who Reaches Puberty in It, and One Who Dies after Having Fasted Part of It or Not Having Fasted Anything from It

Al-Husayn ibn Said, from Muhammad ibn Abi Umayr, from Hammad, from al-Halabi, from Abu Abdillah عليه السلام: Imam عليه السلام was asked about ‘a man who accepted Islam in the middle of the month of Ramadan, what fasting is upon him?’ Imam عليه السلام said: “Nothing is upon him except that in which he accepted Islam.”
