Ali ibn al-Hasan ibn Faddal, from Ibrahim ibn Abi Bakr, from al-Hasan ibn Rashid, from Abu Abdillah عليه السلام, peace be upon him: Imam عليه السلام said: “The fasting person should not smell sweet basil (al-rayhan).”
