What People will Have to Do about the Occultation

ʿAbd Allāh b. Jaʿfar al-Ḥimyarī, from Ayyūb b. Nūḥ, from Muḥammad b. Abī ʿUmayr, from Jamīl b. Darrāj, from Zurāra, who narrated: “Abū ʿAbd Allāh عليه السلام said: “An era will come upon people in which their Imam is occulted from them.” I asked him: “What are people to do in that era?” He said: “They are to adhere to the Ordinance that they affirm, until it is clarified to them.”
