The Signs of the Mahdī’s Reappearance

ʿAlī b. Muḥammad b. Qutayba said: “Al-Faḍl b. Shādhān narrated to us, saying: “Isḥāq b. Ibrāhīm narrated to us, from Jarīr, from al-Ḥasan b. ʿUbayd Allāh, from Abī’l-Ḍuḥā, from Zayd b. Arqam, from the Prophet صلى الله عليه وعلى آله, that he said: “Verily, I am leaving to you the Book of Allāh, and the people of my house, for they will not separate from one another until they both return to me at the Basin.”
